Extensive and alternating production processes often require one or more container changes in the value chain of a component. Many of these processes were previously considered impossible to automate and involved costly or unergonomic manual tasks. For example, components are repacked from a bulk container into containers that can be automated. Here our customers can easily copy\/edit\/adapt type records. A major gear manufacturer was thus able to integrate over 60 types of different gears on the system itself. By converting the systems to purely electric operation and dispensing with pneumatics, a cost reduction in acquisition and maintenance can be achieved. Maintenance costs can also be significantly reduced. By dispensing with pneumatics, the number of components can be significantly reduced, which naturally also reduces the risk of failure and downtimes.
